Below are just a few photos and stories that we have received from our puppies' new
families. We have been thrilled with all the emails and digital photos.
We still receive many complimentary telephone calls and photographs-
Which we enjoy immensely! |

Hi Shannon! Ronan and Tehlah are doing wonderful. At first, they were wary and unsure of us. They were so quiet and didn't move around much. Well, now they are very noisy and unruly, Lol. At first they wouldn't come to us when we let them out to go potty. We have a very large yard that's kind of like a field with trees and bushes and all sorts of explorations were taking place. Now they know that if they come when we call they'll get a treat. They automatically come and sit to receive them after only one lesson. They whine to go out when they need to. Ronan never has an accident, But Tehlah will if I don't respond. Tehlah is terribly jealous if she thinks Ronan is getting something she isn't. Ronan doesn't care a bit. He just looks on and quietly watches in his noble way. They have a great time together and Joe and I can't imagine life without them both. Thank you Shannon and family for the best Collies in America and beyond! Warmly, Jan and Joe (OR) |

Hi Shannon...... Ginger is doing great! She is a hand full and very spunky. I like
her personality but I forgot how much work it is to train a puppy. Garbo is liking
her but lets Ginger know when she does not like her annoying puppy bites.
Ginger is learning very fast. She is very smart and affectionate. I'm being
very consistent in the potty training. We love her very much. Not so sure yet
with Garbo and Ginger but time will help as Ginger knows her limitations. Oh,
we did take Ginger to the vet and she came out with a good report. I have more
shots scheduled for next week. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Marilyn, Cesare, (humans!) Garbo and Ginger (canines!) |

I guess better late then never but here are some pics that I got of her before she
moved again lol. She is growing like a weed and has long legs. The
vet said that she is so beautiful and wanted to know where I got her from.
She is such a sweetheart but also has a lot of energy. We will try to
catch more pics with both of them together hopefully (They have an older collie
from another breeder). We tried today but they where not interested instead
they wanted to play. They really enjoy each other that when one is gone
they are now lost without each other. Hope you have a happy and safe holiday
and we will promise to stay in touch and send more. Talk to you later Gordon and Gypsie (AZ) |

Hi Shannon, Bodie is doing just great! I haven't weighed him since the end of Feb but he was at 44 pounds then so I believe he is about 50-55 now. He is beginning to fill out. Lucky for me, only 1 of his nails is black so we have been trimming his nails (had the vet do it for a while). He is such a part of my life I can't imagine how it would be without him. He is a talker and loves to cuddle. He watches tv with me and when he gets bored, he rolls over on his back and goes to sleep. I hope all is well up your direction. Take care, Barb and Bo-D (OR) |

Hi - Just a quick note on Miranda (Lizzie) who we picked up on March 3rd. She is
doing great and loves the family. She is very outgoing, mouthy and nothing really
phases her. Shawn (OR) |

Hello Shannon: Shaymus made the long road trip here famously, coping and cooperating with all the arduous demands of traveling 3,000 miles, behaving and comporting himself like a real grownup which at 60lbs he looks to be. All of which would make you, Maverick and Panda proud. As he nears seven months it 's not an overstatement to exclaim--he's Magnificent! And healthy! He talks! No, I'm not exaggerating. He makes the most endearing sounds emanating from his sweet soul. So before bedtime and upon waking each morning, he desires an up-on-the bed time with us and unlike any collie, any dog we've ever owned, appeals to us with his vocalizations. Shaymus is such a dear soul housed in such a formidable body, who could resist? We can't. You'd be proud to see his pilgrams progess,Shannon. He's quite a magnificent animal. Phil and Clovis (TX) |

Hi Shannon, While visiting a Seattle dog park, we ran into another puppy from Shamrock M Ranch. This time we ran into Oban's real sister Tippy from the same Joey x Monet litter of September 2009. Attached a pic of both, tough to tell the difference. One on right is Oban and one on left is his sister Tippy. Take care, Prat (Puppies are 7 months old at time of photo) |

Here is a picture of Duncan (Grant) born March 1,2009. He is the sweetest animal
I have ever had. Victoria (WA) Maverick x Athena Puppy |
Maverick x Dixie Pups Shannon, I am sending you some updates of our two darlings. We have had so much snow this year so picture taking is a little hard for posing two rambunctious collies. They do like to romp in the snow! Rider is the larger of the two males. His last weigh in at the vet was 72 pounds at 9 months and is a really solid dog. He is such a character and just loves his back yard His coat is gorgeous. He has an abundance of fur that is unbelievable. He is so comfortable in the snow that I have to periodically call him in so he can dry off and spend time indoors. We lock them both in at night. No telling what mischief these two could get into on their own too long. Snow is the social baby of the two. He is smaller (although at 9 months weighed 52 pounds is not really small), very athletic, and handsome. He is the Mr. social and has to know what is going on with everyone all the time. He has to run in and out of his dog door to check on Rider and play, then come in to see what we are all doing. He has to be in the middle of everything. Both dogs are beautiful, healthy, and full of spirit. Their favorite pass time is to take long walks and investigate deer, moose, or turkey tracks. We are constantly protected from deer, birds, tractors, cars, you name it and they are right there ready to defend or at least talk to anything out of the ordinary. Ha, good thing our neighbors do not live close by. I guess you can tell that we love our two boys. Thank you again for taking such care to breed not only beautiful but well tempered and healthy collies. Susan (ID) |
Hi Shannon, Glad you liked the couple pics I had sent in the past of the collie puppies. Sorry for spamming you with pictures, this will be the last picture for a while. I don't think I can top it in the near future because it has 4 collie puppies from your Fall 2009 litter!I am guessing there are only 4 collie puppies under an year from your farm that are here in Seattle and looks like we ran into all 4 of them last weekend at the Seattle dog park, all the owners were very excited to see the other collie puppies :) Here is a pic attached with all 4 of them. 2 sable/white puppies from Joey x Monet, 1 tricolor from Maverick x Panda and 1 blue merle from Maverick x Athena Prat (WA State) |
Dear Shannon, Here are some photos of Lizzie. We took her kayaking this past weekend. She did great. She wanted to sit sideways and would start to fall in the Yakima River, but She finally figured out that the kayak wasn't wide enough for that. She would lay down and drink along the way or just stand and watch the scenery. Blessings, Roberta |
Hi Shannon, Gibbs did great at the vet for his puppy check. Our vet happens to love collies and herding dogs and has bearded collies herself. We have Gibbs set up for his booster shots the first week of September. Now that it isn’t so hot, Gibbs is so busy rushing in and out of the house, bringing in sticks and leaves, taking out shoes and rugs and starting to do some more exploring. I’m a little concerned that he doesn’t spend more time eating. He gets very excited to smell any meat we are cooking as well as the other dog’s food. He likes his food and will sit and eat, but he just isn’t very plump. We may mix a little canned in with his dry since we bought some anyway. I will get some new pics this weekend and send them off next week. Tammy, Cuong and the kidz WA State |

Hi Shannon, Passing on Petey's proof of being neutered (the rabies certificate from the vet, showing him as a neutered male) and a picture of the boys, Louis (Rain and Joey's 2008 litter) and Petey (Clover and Joey's 2010 litter). It's been fun watching Petey grow up, especially since it wasn't that long ago that Louis was a puppy. My hope was that Petey and Louis would bond and our older dog (12 years old) would get the retirement she deserves and that seems to work. With Louis and Petey, energy attracts energy. Petey has shown himself to be the boss. Nothing gets by him, every noise has to be investigated, a very perceptive dog. A very good watchdog. I suspect he takes after his mother, Clover. I know when I visited, she seem to keep on top of everything going on. We socialize Petey constantly he gets a lot of compliments. Louis, on the other hand, is much more laid back, still a bit of a goof, still stops traffic on walks. People are so wowed with his all white body. Louis is willing to let Petey walk all over him but will often tease Petey, trying to distract him when Petey's is busy chewing up a rawhide toy or something. They are always playing keep away with their toys and chasing each other around the yard. They make a nice team. John (OR) |
Shannon, Comet (formerly Triton), is doing wonderful. He really enjoys running in the park with me, and he gets along great with Cassie and most other dogs. He's still very rowdy, and Cassie has taught him to bark at the newspaper delivery at 3 A.M. Oops! He is a wonderful dog, very loving and quirky. He is the only dog we've ever seen blow bubbles in his water dish. He also enjoyed the first Alaskan snow of the winter very much. He seemed to have forgotten what the strange white stuff on the ground was, and had lots of fun eating it and rolling around. He is an amazing dog, thank you so much! Lorryn W. (Alaska) |

Shannon, Thank you again for the collie of my dreams. Every day the bond between us grows deeper. Verne (CA) Cookie - 4 mos (Dixie x Joey) |

Sorry it has taken us so long to update...Stryder is now named Buckbeak, for he has
fallen in love with the ferret looking toy. He is well on his way to being a
fantastic service dog. He currently has a 12 command vocabulary, and we are starting
to introduce large crowds. He has already gone through doctor's offices,
clinics, grocery stores, and his very first SCA event. He is extremely happy
and getting along fairly well with our other two dogs. He loves to use the
humans as his own personal jungle gyms. Sincerely, Alix and Kadra (WA State) |

Hi Shannon, Wanted to check in with you regarding Sophie (Phoebe, September 2010). She is doing very well and we just adore her. She is a very sweet and loving dog. She recently had her first trip to the dog park in our neighborhood and just loved playing there with the other dogs. She even met another collie and was very excited by that. Also, I thought you would appreciate a picture of Sophie (we have many, but this one is a favorite), so I've attached one here as well (cell phone photo so not the greatest resolution ever). She has absolutely beautiful coloring and on walks, everyone comments on how pretty she is. Thanks, Jen (Oregon) |

Hello Shannon, Dannan is doing just awesome. He is approaching his 5th birthday (November 10). Dannan won blue ribbon for showmanship at the Thurston County Fair, and Red for , both 4H. He is a real beauty and super nice. Stella's younger sister wants to join 4H also, and we want to get another collie. When do you expect another litter sired by Joey (Dannan's dad)? We saw you had them last summer (joey and Clover) but the timing was not right for us. Do you plan to breed Joey and Clover again, as this match is our preference? I have attached a few photos of Dannan so you can see him now as a grown up. Chris WA State |
