Below are just a few photos and stories that we have received from our puppies' new
families. We have been thrilled with all the emails and digital photos.
We still receive many complimentary telephone calls and photographs-
Which we enjoy immensely! |

Hi Shannon: I have attached pics of Jazz taken about a month ago. He is really a
one of a kind. I just had to write and tell you about him. I have owned lots
of dogs, now I know what it means to be owned by a dog. He is the most gentle
intelligent dog we have known. Everyone that has seen him is so
impressed first with his looks then more so when they see how he acts around people
or other animals. We have had people drive by in cars on our walks that stop
to see him, or park outside of our fenced yard to admire him. He is our
little celebrity. He knows that he is our favorite but does not mind sharing
the caresses with the other pups. He is really special and I could probably
write of the many compliments all day long. Bev (OR) |

This email made me think of my friend who is in the mental institution that I told
you about long ago. I have always felt that Zoe, our love, could bring
her back. That God sends these animals to show us that unconditional love
and devotion goes two ways. Thank you for sharing. I have included
pictures of Zoe. She continues to bless us and has had three obedience classes
and is the first in place at all so far! Sincerely, Terri (WA State) |

We thought it was time we sent a picture of our Leo aka Poco. He is a great
dog. We think that he is going to be pretty big. He is so handsome
with his blue eye and fluffy long white hair. We love the collie breed.
They are the best dog as far as we are concerned. Sounds like you are
going to have some more Maverick babies soon. We can’t wait to see what
they look like. Katie and gang in Washington |
Hi Shannon, Just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how much we just love Hero. He is such a fast learner. We are training him to be a therapy dog as well as our wonderful pet. He has good manners greeting people and entering buildings. I work as a school nurse and he has already visited our life skills, mentally handicapped class and was awesome with the kids who were also awesome with him (both were closely supervised). Craig thought he might enjoy some agility training too, not to compete, but because he loves to learn and climb on things such as a small ledges in our back yard. His favorite things are romping in the back yard and greeting anyone who comes over (to see him of course :o) We just love your collies! Craig and Valerie (WA State) |
Hero at 1 year of age |

Dear Shannon, I just wanted to say thank's again for "Gracie". She has settled in with us nicely. She is very intelligent and certainly has a mind of her own. She is no pushover. I think she has already become the alpha dog (with our two year old "Ben"). She crate trained very easily and has already learned the electric fence for our yard. My family loves her! I have sent a picture from 2 1/2 weeks ago and will send an updated one when I get a chance. As you can tell; she is a beautiful dog. (Of course, we are very biased). Thank's Again! HI Shannon, Things are getting better each week with Raven. She's so smart, and is very popular in the neighborhood. Someone out here has show standard poodles (5) and they all walk together to the beach daily. She just loves those poodles, and they like her too. She loves to play hard, and then have a good long nap. We try to give her about 3-4 walks a day to burn off some of that puppy energy. She's eating well too. We got her a bag of Wellness-puppy for large breeds. She prefers to sneak bites of the cat food, but will eat this fine. Potty training is going fine. She is good at letting us know when to go out, and we try to take her out often anyway. Ruth (WA State) |

Hi Shannon, Sorry it took so long to send this because my computer crashed [much like Caesar in this photo!]. I lost everything on it including the pictures of Caesars first day. So here he is four months & 12 days later. He's doing great & we love him a lot. He's so big & beautiful. His health is great, He's had all his shots. Hope you like the pictures Hope to here from you soon. Bernice (WA State) |

First Day: After a quiet night in the crate just out side my sliding door.
Kid has shown Champ around: This is pee spot, this is poop spot, this is play spot,
and this is the fun pond. Champ said "Oh my gosh that is fun racing thru the
water". He is so quiet, watchful and relaxed in the barn & around the horses
being ridden. My granddaughter just loves him. He looks at all the cats, & goes
the other way. Perfect pup. We all just love him, but if he can't see Ryan
[grandson] he whines for him. What a match. Sincerely, Gladys |
I finally got a little video of the dogs. They are acting kind of silly, but
that's what they do best. So far, we really are happy that Piper came to
live with us. (Piper was adopted as an older puppy). We can't imagine
not having her, because she |

Sammi of the Krause family 2009 |

Sterling (Aramis) is getting acquainted with the family. Now we are alone and the night for me was short. Sterling is missing his doggy-family. The cats are still very leery and hissing at him. But it will soon all change and we will get to a routine, I hope! First we have to make a big trip to Oregon and meet more family :). Thought you like to know how it went - Karen (WA State) (Just to show you it isn't always easy the first night with a puppy!) |

Hey Shannon, All is well, we decided on the long ride home that we would name our pup Kellen. Kellen is fitting into our family perfectly! He received his shots today, the Vet has given him a clean bill of health. We have yet to leave him home alone, I guess that is our next step. Thanks for providing us with such a wonderful puppy, we love him!! All the best, Chip (WA State) |

Hello Shannon, Holly is just wonderful! I love her so much! She is perfect in every way and oh so smart. She has already mastered the stairs... Here are just a few pictures of her, at the moment my daughter is working posting a video. Denise (Oregon) |
hi Shannon, Hope you are doing well. Just wanted to send a picture of our puppy Oban (orginally sable white puppy Cooper from the Joey x Monet litter of Sep 2009 from your farm). He is now 7 months old and is doing good, he seems healthy and is very playful and affectionate. He is about 55 pounds now and hopefully will grow a bit more. While visting the Seattle dog parks we ran into another puppy from your ranch. He is a tri color puppy, about 6 months old. It was fun to watch them play together in the park whenever they meet each other. Take care, Prateep |
Hi Shannon, Yay!! She is a LOVE!! She and Henry love each other and she knows "sit" , and comes with her name! We don't do a full-on "come" yet. She slept completely through the night after two nights and is almost housebroken! We have a string of bells on the door for the dogs to let us know they have to go out, and she started to ring them yesterday! We are starting puppy kindergarten next Wed. She is a great girl and seems very settled in to our family. Here are two more photos of her sleeping for you. Michele (WA State) |

Shannon, we saw your recent Litters. You guys have been busy. We thought we would
send some new pictures of Gracie (Delia). We had our first snow in North Carolina
and she loved it. Her coat is quite unique. She was very comfortable when our
retriever was shaking and appeared cold. The kids love her and she has settled
in well. She now is around 7 months and she reminds us a lot of her father.
Thanks again! We'll keep in touch. Frank (NC) |

UPDATE One year ago today we picked up Hero at Shamrock Ranch. Maverick and Athena sure did a good job! He is 26” at the shoulders and weighs 75 pounds. These pictures were taken today. |
